Yes, Acupuncture has been helping people for thousands of years! Personally I have successfully helped hundreds of people alleviate their symptoms and obtain better health naturally by treating the root cause of what’s really happening in their body.
Many conditions including: Addictions, Allergies, Acne, Anxiety, Arthritis, Asthma, Carpal tunnel, Chronic fatigue, Colitis, Common Cold, Constipation, Digestive issues, Depression, Emotional issues, Facial paralysis, Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Fertility issues, Headaches, Hormone imbalance, IBS, Low back pain, Menopause, Migraines, Morning sickness, Nausea, PMS, Sciatica, Side effects from cancer care, Shoulder pain, knee pain, stress reduction, sleep issues, tendonitis, and weight loss.
Acupuncture needles are very tiny about the size of a human hair. Most people when they think of needles think of a hypodermic needle, the kind of needle used to draw blood or give shots with. However you can fit approximately 40 acupuncture needles into the head of one of those big needles. Most of the needles you may not feel at all, and some may have a very brief sensation. Most people equate it to like plucking an eyebrow, a heaviness, or a faint zing. However once they are in you should not feel at all.
I need to understand how your body responds to the acupuncture first. Everyone is different, but typically you should notice positive changes within 4-6 visits. In China, it is common to be seen daily for 7-10 days as a first course of treatment. That treatment model doesn’t really work in the west, so I usually recommend more consistent treatments in the beginning to get a jumpstart on healing. Once we stabilize your body and its symptoms your treatments become less and less frequent. For acute (new) issues, patients tend to see results very quickly. For chronic (older) issues, it may take a little longer. For general rule of thumb, the longer you’ve been dealing with an issue, the more treatments it will take to fix it.
